2010 - 2013 Added to the NSDUH: 4-Year Restricted-Use Data Analysis System

The combined years 2010 through 2013 have been added to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH): 4-Year R-DAS. more...

These data provide information on mental health and substance use, including use of services. With the addition of 2012-2013 data, researchers can now create 4-year estimates for the years 2002-2005, 2006-2009, and 2010-2013 in the Restricted-Use Data Analysis System (R-DAS) to produce frequencies and cross-tabulations using variables including state identifiers, detailed race/ethnicity, insurance status, income, gender, country of birth, etc.

The update includes changes to the "OTHER, Specify" category in the IRNWRACE and NEWRACE1 variables. The DRVFLAG variable was dropped from the NSDUH: 4-Year R-DAS. More details about the update can be found in the Change History section of the codebook.
